Ladies' Ministries

The ladies of Beacon Baptist are a lively bunch!  We enjoy a variety of activities, some which happen on a regular basis, and others, such as Teas, retreats, luncheons, and conferences that happen occasionally.  Events are always listed in the bulletin for further information.  We welcome you to find those ministries and activities that would be of interest to you!

Radiance Class

Radiance is a class for women of all ages! Our mission is to encourage and assist women to develop a transforming relationship with Jesus Christ.  We desire and purpose to empower, uplift, and encourage each woman during every stage of her faith journey!  This class is not currently meeting, but we encourage class members to still attend our services on Sundays either in person or online.

Ladies Bible Study

We offer several studies throughout the year.  We have enjoyed studying under Beth Moore, Pricilla Schirer, and Kay Arthur, to name a few.  Most of our studies are on Wednesday evening, and usually require the purchase of a workbook.  For more information, see Pam Brown, Rhonda Reilly, Lori Pew or call the church office. The Current Bible study session can be found at this link.

Missionary Quilters and Sewers

We are a group of Beacon ladies that meet most Mondays to create beautiful quilts for our missionaries.  We want them to have a constant reminder that Beacon is thinking of them and praying for them.  This group is not currently meeting, but we encourage members to still attend our services on Sundays either in person or online.

Greeting Card Ministry

The Ladies involved in this ministry meet once a month to create beautiful hand-made cards that are sent for a variety of reasons- birthdays, encouragement, thank yous, surgeries, and illnesses, to name a few.  This group is not currently meeting in person, but we encourage members to still attend our services on Sundays either in person or online. For more information about this ministry, see Jaime Jenkins, or call the church office.

Operation Christmas Child Sewers

This group works all year long preparing needed items that will warm and comfort children around the world. Operation Christmas Child provides children with a shoe box of gifts and the gospel at Christmas each year. This team, led by Bev Breece, has a heart to fill those boxes with special handmade items. This group is not currently meeting in person, but we encourage members to still attend our services on Sundays either in person or online. Call the church office for more information.
